Celebrating Green Day

The children of The Primary School will again be observing our tulip, daffodil and native plant garden. Together we will make predictions and track changes in seasons and climate by recording when plants emerge and when flowers bloom.
The tulip garden is one of the many elements of The Primary School’s Green School designation. This week bird feeders were hung as part of a beautiful celebration of the exciting projects students and teachers are working on as a Maryland Green School. On a gorgeous, sunny, Wednesday afternoon a joyful student led community meeting including songs, poems and a blessing was held around the courtyard flag pole. It was a memorable event for Primary School children and adults! Please view photo gallery here.
